FOH Operations Director


The FOH Operations Directors at Chick-fil-A Cerritos & Lakewood is responsible for executing best in class service for our guests in addition to fulfilling the tactical responsibilities expected of all other leaders. They are accountable for all front end restaurant operations and are expected to be the point of contact for any and all incidents that require elevated leadership involvement. They must demonstrate the capacity to create a healthy culture and developed team that drives its critical success factors: Guest experience, Food Safety, and productivity

Requirements:

  • Must have full-time; open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Servsafe management certified preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant high level leadership experience
  • Willingness and hunger to learn and grow
  • Strong interpersonal & emotional skills
  • Ability to communicate and drive clear goals with a team
  • Understanding of business metrics and ability to recognize their impact
  • Computer literate and has experience with Google Workspace applications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Outlined Responsibilities:

  • Follow Chick-fil-A’s operational standards
  • Scheduling front of house leaders and team members
  • Implement improvements based on scorecard learnings
  • Maintain all of front counter staffing
  • Maintain knowledge and enforce consistency of all processes
  • Work closely with restaurant training coordinator to properly train and develop team members
  • Engage in tactical and strategic meetings with leaders
  • Communicate consistently and clearly with team members to provide details and context around strategic changes, events, catering, holiday planning, etc.
  • Demonstrate a forward thinking mindset to stay ahead of the business

Measures of success:

  • Above average Customer experience scores (accuracy, cleanliness, fast service, hospitality)
  • Health Department Grade minimum of A, 95 points and above
  • Smart shop score of 95%
  • Productivity of $95+
  • Food safety score of 3 or less
  • Perform 90% of self assessments
