Food Service District Floating Food Prep staff 18 hours per week - work day-to- day assignments or reassignments to fill positions due to the absence of the regularly assigned food service personnel. Per Diem Substitutes are responsible for maintaining meaningful food service production. Hourly pay: $19.85 (18 hours per week)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares serving area.
2. Serves students and staff from cafeteria counter.
3. Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables
and furnishings in the dining area.
4. Maintains trash and garbage collections area in the neat and sanitary fashion.
5. School assignments may be changed by Cafeteria Supervisor if needed.
6. Performs other related duties as required by Cafeteria Cook and Director.

7. May be assigned to multiple locations according to the needs of the department.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Ability to lift over 25 pounds, stand long period of time, bend, and perform physical labor.
  • Demonstrate aptitude for assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel to any school building as needed.
