Job Description
- Use forkilift and other mechanical assists to move machinery throughout facility in a safe, controlled manner.
- Use forklift and other mechanical assists to load machinery onto trucks and / or into containers in a safe, controlled manner.
- Assist Shipping department as needed to meet material movement goals.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience certified forklift operation to move heavy machinery.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Ability to take direction and meet goals.
- Understanding of how to weigh loads and limits for trucks, containers.
- Understanding how to balance uneven loads with a forklift.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
You should be proficient in:
- Forklift Licensed
- High School / GED
- Shop Math Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Meets Physical Requirements
