What does a successful Forklift Mechanic do at Fiserv?

As a Forklift Mechanic, you will work independently of manager/supervisor to perform difficult, complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on the forklifts at the facility. Also, you will help with industrial machinery, timing devices, and electrical/electronic equipment. We provide the tools on-site that you will need to complete the assigned tasks.

What you will do:

• Disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
• Fitting and alignment of mechanical components
• Troubleshoot to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting maintenance issues.

What you will need to have:

• HS diploma/equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of progressive maintenance/forklift repair and troubleshooting.
• Willing to go back to school to earn degree or certification.

What would be great to have:

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or Industrial Maintenance
• 4-7 years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience.
