AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

• Shift 1: Monday - Thursday: 5am – 3:30pm. Pay: $18/hr.
• Shift 2: Monday - Friday: 3pm – 11:30pm. Pay: $18.50/hr.
• Shift 3: Friday - Sunday: 5am - 5pm. Pay: $20/hr.
• Shift 4: Friday - Sunday: 5pm - 5a.m. Pay: $21/hr.
• Shift 5: Monday – Thursday: 6:30pm – 5am. Pay: $19/hr.
• Shift 6: Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm. Pay: $18/hr.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading our trucks.

You are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards being upheld.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a forklift to move finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customers
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source for lift
• Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on palletizing equipment
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and audits as required
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
• Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facility
• Follow standard work policies and procedures
• Work as a team with other forklift drivers to prevent line stoppages and improve operations

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• 1+ years of forklift operation experience in warehouse or inventory environments
• Prior exposure to CPG/Food & Beverage industries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills
• An understanding of computer ordering systems and other IT systems
• Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand, walk and sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Regularly lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays as needed.
• Exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Responsible for overall safety and safe operation of motor vehicle.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures
• Operate in a warehouse environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
