Empire Truck Sales, LLC is one of the largest Freightliner/Western Star Heavy Truck Dealerships in the Southeast. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a self-starter for our Body Shop Frame and Alignment Technician who is organized and has a strong attention to detail to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Train to be able to perform alignments, Single Axle, and 3-Axle
• Perform suspension work, replace axles, replace suspension parts
• Train and learn procedures for repairing and straightening frames
• Measure and gauge frames for damage
• Thoroughly inspect truck for damage(s), repair, and return to factory specifications
• Remove necessary parts to access frame equipment
• Perform work associated with the preparation and make ready process for vehicles and equipment and body shop repairs and recordkeeping

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Alignment and frame experience is essential for this position
• Must have valid Drivers License and able to obtain CDL license.
• Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to understand mechanical issues and determine best options for repair
• Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, technical skills, and functional skills.
• Basic computer skills, such as experience with MS Office Suite and web-based programs
• Possess the understanding of body fabrication and the ability to work with body fillers
• Must be able to understand how to properly use and maintain all equipment and materials used for vehicle body service and repairs
• Ability to operate all equipment essential to the preparation, repair and operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety polices set by their employer.
• Welding experience with the ability to use equipment and perform needed functions in the repair process is preferred, but not required.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs.
