We are looking for a Fashion Designer to be responsible and accountable for the research and development of new clothing lines for our brand, AllStuff420. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable about the current trends, specifically of the 420 or cannabis niche. The fashion designer will be responsible for assuring products will be made of high quality and value from our target customers. Thus, the candidate must understand the principles of design, and apply this knowledge in creating aesthetic but equally functional designs that are comfortable to wear.

Final rate will be discussed during the interview.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Manage the overall design process from conception, final styling, and production.

● Work with the Product and Development team to create accurate and comprehensible new sketches for production

● Work with the team to conduct cost analysis for each design

● Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes and create innovative concepts.

● Conduct appropriate market research to identify new trends, fabrics and seek design inspiration.

● Test and decide on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design.

● Communicate technical design to team members with detailed specifications.

● Work with the Product and Development team to oversee the prototype sample order process.

RELATED EXPERIENCE

● Proven work experience as a fashion designer or similar role, preferably in manufacturing apparel companies

● A bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts is preferred, but not required

● Superior knowledge of fashion design principles

● Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns

● Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools

● Excellent attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.58 per hour
