Front Desk Agent Job at Residence Inn by Marriott
We are searching for a Guest Services Agent to oversee all essential functions of the Front Desk, along with exceeding guest satisfaction.
Some Key Areas of Responsibility for a Guest Services Agent include:
- Establishing, maintaining and controlling appropriate service standards for all front office/desk areas.
- Handle and resolve guest issues.
- Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used.
- Communicate with guests to better understand their individual needs to provide them with the best service possible .
- Greeting guests at the front desk, answering any questions, recommending activities and restaurants to guests, as well as answering any phone calls.
- Communicating effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers daily.
Requirements
- Open availability
- Able to work nights and weekends, including but not limited to holidays
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Customer service skills are a requirement as a front desk agent. You will work with guests during check in and check out, and when guests request information from the front desk
Preferred but not required:
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred.
- Marriott experience preferred.
