Description

VRTX Fitness is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join the front desk team. This position is crucial to our business. You are the first face members see when they enter our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and wellness, and a friendly personality. The focus of this role is to fulfill the needs of members and future members and hand crafting quality food and beverages through exceptional customer service.

Position Details:

• Greet members and provide a welcoming atmosphere
• Answer members questions with accurate information
• Sell and write membership agreements
• Process and update payment information
• Process change in memberships
• Provide tours of the gym
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions. Ensure that all charges are accurate
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitization procedures
• Answer telephones
• Understand and familiarize yourself with the programs we offer
• Understand club software and point of sale system

Required Qualifications

• Possess ambition, knowledge, and drive regarding the fitness industry
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass background check
• High School Diploma/GED
