Job Description
Immediate opening for a Medical Receptionist for a busy Pediatric office located in Zephyrhills. The Medical Receptionist will provide support with daily activities such as telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient registration, check in/out. Experience preferred. EMR knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients professionally, cheerfully, and in a timely manner
- Answer phone promptly and professionally
- Demonstrate product knowledge
- Accurately post payments
- Maintains an organized and clean work area
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Basic computer proficiency
- Prior pediatric experience preferred
Physical and Mental Demands: * Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
- Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
- High level verbal and written communication skills
- Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Pay Rate $11.00-$12.00
