The Front Office Team Lead position, at Raleigh Medical Group Family Dermatology in Raleigh, will assist in providing comprehensive outpatient and acute in-patient care. The GI department mainly focuses on screenings, outpatient endoscopic procedures, as well as office based infusions.

On an average day, you will:
- Report to work at the scheduled time and seldom be absent from work.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- You will be responsible for supervision of all front office functions in our satellite office including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones
- Responsible for making sure the day to day filing and retrieving medical records and patient information Is performed and privacy guidelines associated with HIPAA regulations are maintained.
- You will assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer, check-in, check-out.
- Management of daily scanning of documents into the patient medical records are timely and accurately scanned into the correct patient’s chart. In addition, that information on scanned documents is redacted that does not pertain to the current patient based on HIPAA guidelines.
- Insurance patient portals are activated in a timely manner as per practice guidelines.
- Provide supervision of front office employees and call center to as it relates to general support, escalated patients and diffusion of corresponding situation.
- Directly responsible for correction of timecards for each employee and submittal of timecards prior to payroll. Submitting the daily reconciliation/close from the satellite office to the billing/front office supervisor.
- Ensures that staff is properly trained on existing and newly introduce office policies and protocols.
- Ensures that clinic flow is concurrent with patient satisfaction, provider schedule templates.
- Ensures cohesive team work as with back office clinic, front office and providers.
- Timely and effective communication with the Administrator and other personnel of satellite offices that affect clinic operations and improve performance outcomes.
