Job Summary

Fuji Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is looking for Fry cook who will prepare all food orders according to required standards and procedures, while working daily to following a schedule of side work in a clean, filled, and sanitary enviornment.

Responsibilities

• At Fuji, we prepare our food fresh daily to ensure the best quality results. You should have the ability to follow a cleaning schedule, during a working relationship with those around you.
• Maintain a neat, orgainized, and stocked station.
• Ensure all work adhere to recipes and menu, meeting the highest standard to represent the restaurant standards
• You should have the ability to manage the orders one at a time, at the best quality, and ensure they are delivered to the expected workstation or guest.
• You will understand how to work as a team with those around you, including the certified chefs who may have specific directions, and you are staying stocked and prepared to use each ingredient entrusted to you to prepare your products.

Job Type / Category

A fry cook generally works in a kitchen or in such places where there is a danger of cuts and burns. Your cooking area and working enviornment continually presents the danger of burns during a rushed and busy workplace. You may feel uncomfortable at times due to the fast paced orders and flow of higher volume of business, but it is something expected by the entire restaurant crew.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-year proven experience being a cook
• Can work on flexible schedules, while showing yourself with a high work ethic of trust, reliability and dependability
