Marsden South is looking to hire a Supervisor to assist oversee a team of cleaners, Floor techs and other janitorial personnel in Davie, FL 33314!

Candidate should be flexible and able to work on weekends (if needed)

Requirements:

• Able to perform the duties of supervised staff
• Completes regular quality inspections of assigned account and acts appropriately based on results of the quality inspections
• Provides accurate and timely information to Operations Manager / Human Resources regarding current staffing and future staffing needs.
• Ensures all associates are properly trained at each assigned account with a focus on long term retention.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by enforcing the company’s safety, recognition, and training programs
• Handles administrative duties of assigned accounts to include, but not limited to: timekeeping, documentation of employee performance and safety, and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies
• Commits to behave in compliance with the company’s values and Code of Conduct
• Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with one's own safe behavior
• Treats co-workers with respect and approaches conflict with positive intent and professionalism
• Ensures one's own compliance with the company's published Operations Standards
• Understand budget and labor costs of assigned accounts
• Work with Operations Manager to operate effectively within established budget guidelines

• Requires following safety policies and procedures at all times (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
• Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building and turn in the new hire employee’s completed training acknowledgment form with both the Supervisor and new hire signature to the office.
• Provide guidance in safety, cleaning processes, procedures, and chemical usage to cleaning crew.
• Counsel crew members in regards to tardiness, absenteeism, work performance etc.
• Holds regular feedback conversations with staff to discuss performance and development goals
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by enforcing the company’s safety, recognition, and training programs
• Able to keep team motivated
• Capable of defuse issues professionally
• Able to utilize Windows
• Previous "Supervisor" experience required in a production environment or in a janitorial capacity
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Details:

Shift: 2nd

Times: Mon-Thu: 7:PM-3:30am Fridays: 6:PM-2:30am

Pay: $18

Term: Full-Time

Physical Demands:

• Stand, bend, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk throughout an 8-10 hour shift
• Make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, bending or squatting.
