Summary
We are looking for qualified teachers to nurture our 2- and 3-year-old's providing a fun learning environment. We strive to ease them into organized education. A teacher must have a great love and patience for children, be reliable, and hardworking. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of Bright from the Start best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can thrive in their next level of education.
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday - Friday
Duties
Following Daily Classroom Schedule
Cleaning and Sanitizing Classrooms
Updating Daily Activities for each student in Parent Engagement App
Attending Monthly Staff Meetings
Implementing Class Curriculum
Staying Current on Annual Training Requirements
Aid in the implementation of provided curriculum
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, guided play, movement, etc.) to teach children
Observe each child to help them improve their social-emotional growth
Requirements
Proven experience with small children
Understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
Certification in child CPR (or willing to become certified)
Nice To Haves
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Some College (Preferred)
License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Preferred)
CDA or Higher Education (AA, BA, MS) Preferred
