FrugalChicken LLC is looking for a full time product creation associate. We are a pet e-commerce family business, and we manufacture and distribute treats, feeds, and bedding for pets. This position is located in one of our distribution warehouses and on our family farm.

Job duties:

• Assisting in the manufacture and packaging of our treats & feeds
• Assist with packing product shipments for distribution
• Maintaining sanitation of work areas

To be successful in this role, you should be:

• Detail oriented and a good communicator
• A team player who likes to help and works well with others
• Have your own reliable transportation
• Able to follow step-by-step directions with little oversight
• Open to pitching in wherever needed during our busy seasons
• Open to working in a small and relaxed but fast-paced warehouse environment
• Able to problem-solve without much direction so projects are completed on time.
• Able to handle repetitive job duties but open to the occasional new project.
• Able to lift 50 pounds

About us:

FrugalChicken LLC was founded in 2015, and began selling pet products in 2018. We are a small family-owned and run pet ecommerce brand.

We are pet friendly, with offices located on our family farm, so you should be comfortable with animals such as cats, horses, dogs, rabbits, and chickens and working in a warehouse facility. Nuts and shellfish are also stored in our facility.

As a small, family owned business, work-life balance and respect for your contribution to our company’s success is important to us. Work hours are 8 AM and 5 PM Monday, 8 AM and 4 PM Tues - Thurs, and 8 AM to 3 PM Fridays. Starting June 2023, we might move to a 4 day work week with hours M-Thurs 7AM - 5PM. Pay starts at $17/hr. After 90 days on staff, you are eligible for PTO and health benefits. After 1 year on staff, you are eligible for paid vacation time.
