Chosen Hoops Willowbrook (CHW) is currently recruiting a General Manager to perform the business duties outlined below. CHW is a membership-based basketball training facility focused specifically on the skill development of 6-18 year old athletes. Our proprietary skills program offers our clients over 30 group training classes per week in specialty basketball facility with a team of CHW certified trainers. Our unique facility includes a skill lab, 3V3 court and an athlete recovery room.

CHW is a growth minded company and is looking for the right individual to join us in the early stages as our company continues to grow and expand into future markets.


General Manager Position:

The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those a typical GM must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide exceptional level of customer service to existing members via face-to-face service in the gym or out, phone and email.
  • Ensure all clients are properly booked and checked in to each class they participate in.
  • Maintain proficiency at Club Ready software to troubleshoot client account inquiries and possible sales opportunities.
  • Hire, train, assist and supervise a sales team with the following goals:
    • Drive and retain memberships and as a sales team, selling one new membership per day.
    • Ensure team contacts all prospects/leads within 12 hours.
    • Achieve corporate objective of 100 sales tasks completed by your team per day.
    • Develop a consistent sales presentation that meets corporate and ownership approval.
    • Support sales staff with Free Assessment classes.
    • Train all sales staff to be self-sufficient in all aspects of the position including understanding documents, signups and cancellations.
    • Implement a performance evaluation program for sales team members.
  • Generate a minimum of 50 monthly leads through grass roots networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Weekly monitoring and collection of any outstanding dues.
  • Work with the training department and assist with the scheduling of all instructors.
  • Maintain a monthly member schedule reflective of membership numbers, member requests and approval of ownership.
  • Submit bi-weekly payroll data utilizing an excel payroll template to ownership by end of day Monday of the pay week.
  • Submit all employment offers to ownership for approval prior to extending to candidate.
  • Personally, contact any member that provides negative feedback with respect to their experience and report discussion to ownership.
  • Participate in an initial 30, 90 day performance review and a bi-annual review thereafter.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Enforce all CHW policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and CHW literature is stocked and visible.
