The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Corporate Headquarters in Milwaukee, WI is the site where the first H-D factory - a wooden shed - was built in 1903 in the backyard of the William C. Davidson family home. Join our team as a Generalist Talent - Hybrid.

This hybrid role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. The role will require onsite visits to H-D facilities, commuity partners, college campuses, etc.

Job Responsibilities


This position is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team and will be responsible for driving our overall university and college campus efforts for specific business functions. This role will focus on developing and growing our strategic partnerships with key colleges/universities and professional organizations and for enhancing our early talent recruiting strategy, in order to build a pipeline of talent for the organization. Key responsibilities, include:


Collaboration:
Will partner internally with Human Resources Business Partners, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to gather input and prioritize on-campus activities, manage milestones and coordinate communication and support. This employee will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with colleges/universities, school administration, student organizations, etc. in order to achieve our on-campus vision.


Program/Project Management:
Work with specific functions to create a college/university recruitment strategy specific to their needs. Manage recruitment strategy and full cycle recruitment for co-op, intern and early talent for specific business functions. This position will implement and execute diversity recruitment efforts across targeted university and college campuses.


Innovative:
This position requires the ability to identify new and impactful ways to engage with students and early career talent. Employee should be well-organized and have strong attention to detail to maintain a schedule of campus activities and events and ensure proper resourcing. This position will also look for ways to align and support H-D’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) strategies and programming in K-12.


Communication:
Employee will interact and communicate with variety of internal and external stakeholders. Employee will promote Harley-Davidson employment, brand and culture. In this role you will be responsible for preparing documentation and presentations in support of talent processes and programs.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience managing projects with change and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and across sites.
  • Ability to form partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
