The Houston Activity Host, under the direction of the Houston Site Director will be responsible for the coordination of the weekly Family Volunteer Events that occur at nonprofit locations throughout Houston. This can include making sure each event has the necessary materials for the Volunteer event; interacting with Volunteers and the volunteers leads to make sure everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities; and communicating with partner point of contacts regarding the volunteer event.
Member Duties : The Houston Activity Host, under the direction of the Houston Site Director will be responsible for the coordination of the weekly Family Volunteer Events that occur at nonprofit locations throughout Houston. This can include making sure each event has the necessary materials for the Volunteer event; interacting with Volunteers and the volunteers leads to make sure everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities; and communicating with partner point of contacts regarding the volunteer event. The Houston Activity Host will be the face of Generation SERVE on the ground: training volunteer Activity Leads, interacting with partner nonprofits throughout Houston to develop projects that are completed by the Family Volunteers, and working with other organizations to increase the number of volunteers engaged in the Family Events.
