Job Summary
Detroit Golf Club is currently seeking Golf Course Maintenance Staff. Candidates will also be involved in preparing for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, a PGA Tour event that will be held in June 2023. Established in 1899, Detroit Golf Club is a 36 hole full service private Club, located in the energized and growing city of Detroit, MI. Both the North and South courses were designed by Donald Ross and have recently received extensive improvements. Rocket Mortgage Classic Course Recently featured on PGA Tour 2K21 for X-Box and Play Station.
Detroit Golf Club is looking for hardworking individuals who work well in a team environment and possess exceptional punctuality skills. Previous golf course or landscape experience is preferred but not required. The typical work week is Monday-Friday 6am-2pm, and one weekend short day is typically required. Benefits include but are not limited to: Overtime, uniforms, circumstantial employee golf, and Free Admission to The Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Job Requirements will include but not limited to:
- Raking bunkers and other physical labor.
- Golf course set up
- Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough and clubhouse grounds.
- Line trimming, edging, weeding, and landscape work.
- lifting heavy objects including 50lbs or more.
