Ongoing Recruitment for Part-Time and Temporary Applicant Pools

This is part-time skilled work involving the care and maintenance of municipal golf course greens, tees, fairways, roughs, sand bunkers and general grounds. Work includes maintaining all equipment and mowers; operation of gang mowers and a variety of turf equipment; watering and applying chemicals to greens, tees, fairways and roughs; laying sod and seed; maintaining sand bunkers, water hazards and other plant materials; and other related work. Work is also performed on weekends and holidays.

Salary: $15.45 - $21.01 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:

• Possess and continue to maintain a valid Driver License.

• Have considerable experience in the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, and fairways.

• Have knowledge of the operation and care of various types of mowing equipment.

• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Be able to deal tactfully and courteously with golf course patrons.
