We are looking for an experienced Grinder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts. This position requires excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, the ability to work independently, and the ability to work with a variety of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Operate grinding machines to grind metal and other materials.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specifications of a job.
- Inspect parts for defects and measure parts with precision measuring instruments.
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain records of production output.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
