As a Grocery Stock Clerk, your job responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

- Staffing the registers and/or self checkout of the Front End Department and providing world class, friendly customer service to all customers requiring assistance (ringing up items quickly and accurately to ensure speed of service as well as accurate inventory tracking of sales movement through the store.)

- Bagging groceries quickly and thoughtfully according to customer preferences/needs when a Courtesy Clerk (bagger) is unavailable.

- Operating manual hand-jacks to pull pallets of new load to the sales floor and using a 6-wheel dolly to down-stack the cases next to their spot on the shelves down each aisle in preparation for stocking.

- Operating mechanized jacks/forklifts to maneuver and organize pallets in the backroom.

- Stocking items from their cardboard cases to the correct spot on the shelf designated by a shelf tag.

- "Facing" aisles (pulling product forward to the edge of the shelf to create a seamless presentation of all items for the customers that shop during the day, spinning labels forward, puffing up bags, wiping down dirt and debris from shelves.)

- Working backstock from the backroom to the aisle alongside new loads as well as returning new backstock neatly to the designated storage area in the backroom, keeping everything properly stacked, organized, and labeled.)

- Cleaning up excess cardboard, pallets, and plastic wrap at the end of the night.

- This is a physically intense job with a focus on speed as well as strength. In addition to being able to lift 50+ pounds safely without injury, you should be able to move quickly and efficiently during your entire shift to ensure everything is completed prior to leaving in the morning.

- A plus will be able to perform all of the above duties in varying temperature settings to accommodate when help is need in Dairy as well as Frozen.

10p-7a (Overnight)

Available days and hours are negotiable.

Wage advertised is for entry level. Higher starting wages are negotiable based on experience.
