DESCRIPTION
Under limited supervision, maintain the outside grounds of the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct custodial work including litter and trash removal
- Responsible for mowing and edging as assigned
- Complete snow removal and de-icing as needed for inclement weather that has occurred
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven attention to detail with quality of work
- Flexibility to work multiple tasks and shift direction and priorities without losing focus
- Must be able to safely and regularly use hand tools, power tools, power washer, ladders, lawn mowers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and must have a valid driver’s license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 100 pounds.
- May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment testing (physical, drug, alcohol).
- Must be able to work outside in varying temperatures to support outdoor grounds needs
