We are hiring a Middle East Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic and diverse team and be central to our growth strategy.

The candidate will provide specialist consulting advice to clients. They will have in-depth estimating experience. The ideal candidate will oversee the consulting engagements and business development functions for Advisian Fuels and Chemicals for our Middle East clients.

The primary job function is portfolio management, business development from early conversations to proposal generation and supply technical and project management expertise in support ongoing consulting engagements and sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Portfolio growth in ‘sell-do’ model.
• Strong self-starter and motivated to succeed.
• Ability to manage deliverables for multiple projects at the same time.
• Experience and knowledge of process design and technologies to produce refining fuels, chemicals, and/or renewable fuels and chemicals
• Strong technical acumen and problem-solving, optimization, and analysis mindset.
• Ability to interface at leadership levels within client organization.
• Understanding of project development from concept generation, feasibility analysis, design basis, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design and construction.
• Working knowledge of Process Design, Cost Estimation, Linear Program, Financial Analysis and Project Management.
• Supportive Leadership.
• Excellent communication skills including ability to produce concise reports and presentations.
• Lead proposal, marketing and business development activities for consulting services in the Middle East.
• Lead the portfolio of consulting engagements for our Middle East clients providing consistency, customer insight, project management support for all engagements and business development efforts.
• Responsible for the growth of the Middle East Portfolio
• Accountable to Advisian Americas and Advisian EMEA leadership

Requirements:

• Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent
• 15+ years of relevant project development experience
• Preferred experience working for owner/operators and or engineering contractors in the Middle East.
• It is required to be local to one of our three main offices: Houston, Chicago, or Los Angeles.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Preferred to be fluent in spoken and written Arabic.
• Able and willing to travel
