Gyro Survey Engineer Job at Summit Directional Solutions, Inc.
The Gyro Survey Engineer position provides specialty directional survey services to oil and gas operators through the deployment of late technology equipment in oil and gas wells. The Gyro Survey Engineer uses this equipment and related software to produce a directional survey report that details the subsurface path of the wellbore.
Primary Duties Include:
- 24-hour call
- May work Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays
- Preventative Maintenance and proper care of equipment
- Rigging up and rigging down of tools and equipment
- Interfaces with customer representative in a professional manner
- Conducts various directional survey operations on well sites
- Generates appropriate reports and field tickets
- Reviews technical data for any QC/QA issues
- Troubleshoots equipment functionality as needed
- Drives to and from well sites
- May sometimes work extended hours as needed
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical. CDL preferred.

Compensation is based upon experience level and is extremely competitive.
