DSimone Artistry is building a killer team of Hair Texture Specialists to cater to our ever-growing clientele. We are looking for professional, energetic, teachable Hairstylists for our texture-driven, haircare-focused education-based salon located in Elmwood Park NJ. Our clients are in need of skilled Texture Specialists who can partner with them to educate and assist cultivating the hair of their dreams. By partnering with our clients we are able to cultivate hydrated tresses and create solid routines that will work for any hair type. We also offer memberships with priority booking, hands-on classes and product knowledge, just to name a few.

Training will be provided but a love for or a strong interest in kinky curly coily hair is a MUST.

** MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE **

*Cosmetology students are welcomed to apply for Apprenticeship opportunities and NJ Licensed Cosmetologist for Full/Part time positions.

You must have:

• A Passion for natural kinky curly coily hair or a high level of interest to learn more about this hair type

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greeting clients with a positive and affirmative attitude
• Assisting the Team when possible.
• Attendance for Mandatory Education Days.
• Showing up on time for huddles.
• Maintaining technical knowledge of natural hair elements and products.
• Performing thorough consultations.
• Educating clients on their hair elements and able to create and recommend an at home routine.
• Styling, cutting, coloring, thermal styling, and manipulating hair.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the salon at all times.
