The hardware coordinator monitors supply/demand and coordinates all elements required for execution of products for assembly through delivery for development program hardware. The material analyst is a part of the IPDS program team interfacing with Program Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain. The main function is to ensure on time delivery of internal or customer program hardware as defined by the program work scope and schedule. The job requires interface with Program Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering Test Services, Quality, Contracts, and Logistics. In this job, the Material Analyst reviews new product build schedules and capacity to prioritize end item work to meet program needs.
The analyst validates availability of the material required, arranges for in-plant transfer of materials if required, and tracks the end item progress through shipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supplier order acknowledgement, RFQ and PO monitoring in SAP, follow up with Sourcing SPM
• Drive Part expedition at the supply base through Sourcing POC
• Contractually protecting Honeywell’s intellectual and indemnity interest.
• Helps implement strategies for productivity and cost reduction
• Drive accountability of supporting functions as needed
• Develop excel tools as needed to capture program requirements, track, and report status

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or a similar discipline preferred or 5 years of experience in similar function
• Good organization and communication skills
• Microsoft Excel and other basic software
• SAP / ERP skills desired
• Work under general supervision; task and project oriented
• Demonstrate working knowledge of purchasing concepts
• Drive procurement org/buyers for materials and services to fulfill project needs
• Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
