Power Electronics is a multinational company that manufactures Solar Inverters and Electrical Vehicle chargers on an industrial scale, providing service to companies all over the globe. Power Electronics is searching for a Health and Safety Specialist new team members to sustain its business presence in the US.

Job description

• Ideal candidate will already have some experience on this field.
• Conduct incident and accident investigation.
• Perform risk assessment of workstations, area, ergonomic and machine risks.
• Monitor workers considered to be especially sensitive, ensuring that they perform their jobs in compliance with the restrictions determined.
• To issue work permits for external companies to carry out their activities, analyzing the documentation and verifying that it corresponds to the determined requirements.
• Perform the evaluation of the packaging, ensuring that it complies with the determined requirements.
• Collaborate in the design, pre-acceptance and implementation phases of new machinery, ensuring that it complies with the requirements determined by health and safety.
• Collaborate in the preparation and management of audits.
• Perform safety audits (LPA).
• Identify and select the PPE required in the different work positions.
• Develop and deliver health and safety inductions and training.
• Collaborate in the preparation of the documentation of health and safety procedures in accordance with the regulations, as well as the modifications and updates that take place.
• Communicate and report to the immediate manager on the status and evolution of each action and initiative carried out (KPIs), highlighting the main milestones, as well as assessing their appropriateness and impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or University Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or Renewable Energies.
• Master's degree or specific training in electric vehicle chargers is desirable.
• Professional level of office 365 package; SAP knowledge and experience desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards.
