Job Duties
- Work safely and comply with all safety processes.
- Understand your customers, and meet their needs.
- Comply with quality system work instructions.
- Transport, handle, and label raw materials and product.
- Set up, start up, operate, and shut down manufacturing equipment in manner that meets performance expectations.
- Monitor equipment and processes, identify issues requiring action, and take either preventive or reactive action.
- Inspect product and conduct product testing.
- Enter production data and quality information into computer system.
- Maintain a written log. Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- Routinely clean equipment and work area.
- Generate improvement ideas, and take action to implement.
- Participate on problem solving and improvement teams.
- Actively help others on the team.
- Train peers.
- Take on selected leadership roles within the team.
- Conduct effective shift change hand-offs.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications
- Competency within a storage and warehousing facility
- Exhibits leadership ability
- Skilled in Office 365 to the level of managing reporting expectations
- Ability to prioritize and execute daily work assignments
- Understanding of overall customer satisfaction expectations specific to on-time-delivery (OTD)
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of inventory systems management
- Ability to drive and implement accuracy within a warehouse system
- Willingness to provide a flexible work schedule
- All other duties as assigned
