- Working on a collaborative, cross-functional team with geographical focus areas to facilitate the delivery of statewide mandate and the implementation of strategic priorities.
- Working on a team of outreach specialists, encourage and train participants to expand their use, and work to facilitate implementation of legislative requirements and strategic initiatives.
- Focusing outreach efforts on the Piedmont/Triad Region.
- Travelling to travel to meet with providers in the Piedmont/Triad region and to Raleigh office as needed
The Government Data Analytics Center (GDAC), a data integration unit of the Department of Information Technology (DIT), seeks to utilize public-private partnerships as part of a statewide data integration and data-sharing initiative. The GDAC unit is responsible for the development of policies, procedures, governance, technology, and best practices for statewide data integration and business intelligence efforts at an enterprise/Statewide level that will generate greater efficiencies in, and improved service delivery by, State agencies, departments, and institutions. The GDAC manages the design, development and support of numerous mission critical applications for the State including CJLEADS, NC FACTS, ELDS, HIE, Health Analytics and other Data Analytics & Reporting programs along with other expanding project priorities. By law all data initiatives and activities must go through the GDAC. This position falls within the GDAC health care portfolio at the NC Health Information Exchange Authority (NC HIEA).
The NC Health Information Exchange Authority, within the Government Data Analytics Center (GDAC), seeks to utilize health care partnerships as part of a statewide data integration and data-sharing initiative. By law, the unit is responsible for connecting medical facilities across NC and establishing a statewide clinical data warehouse including policies, procedures, governance and best practices for data integration and business intelligence efforts at an enterprise level that will generate greater healthcare treatment, patient practice efficiencies in, and improved service delivery by, Medicaid Reform, State agencies, departments, and institutions.

- Excellent customer service and communications skills including strong writing skills and ability to communicate/present to large audiences
- Experience working in health care or health IT where advocating for those providing patient or population care was a focus
- Excellent analytic skills, problem identification and problem resolution skills that effectively resolve open issues and close gaps in service and support
- Working knowledge of how best to leverage technology to meet business needs
Bachelor s degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business consultation or business relationship development
OR
Associate degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business consultation or business relationship development
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
