UPMC Home Health is hiring a Home Care Aide to join its team, supporting the Bellevue, West View, Observatory, North Side, Millvale, Lawrenceville, and downtown areas!
This is a Full-Time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM!

Responsibilities:
- Must maintain annual competency evaluation scores as determined by regulatory requirements
- Attends compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to facilitate change.
- Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.
- Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services we provide.
- Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
- Participates in all required agency meetings.
- Communicates appropriately with the interdisciplinary home care team in a timely manner, reporting any changes in patient?s condition to appropriate professional staff.
- Maintains and completes documentation accurately and promptly while in the patient's home and within the agency and regulatory standards.
- Provides safe and direct personal care to patients in the home setting under direct supervision of appropriate professional.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED - Required
- One (1) year experience - Preferred
- Certified Nurse Aide - Preferred
- Minimum of 75 hours of Nurse Aide training - Required. If no previous nurse aide training, the applicant may attend UPMC Home Healthcare Nurse Aide Training Course as available upon hire.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Automotive Insurance
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Driver's License
- Act 33
- Act 34
- OAPSA
