We are currently hiring Full and Part-Time Home Care Aides/Caregivers for clients in Mount Vernon, Ohio and Newark, Ohio. The current openings are for day shift, Monday-Friday, with the potential to turn into more hours with other clients around the Mount Vernon and Newark, Ohio areas.

Our caregivers work hard to make sure our clients can live safely in their own homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will assist our senior clients with daily needs and routine tasks in their homes. You will help take care of basic tasks such as preparing meals, laundry, light housekeeping, and helping clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and maintaining proper hygiene. Our ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, dependable, and adaptable.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must want to make a difference in the lives of others
• Must have a valid Ohio driver's license
• Must have valid auto insurance
• Must have a cell phone
• New hires will be required to have a background check and pass a drug test

Responsibilities:

• Arrive to clients home on time for scheduled shift
• Provide care for the client and duties as assigned in client's personal care plan (this varies from client to client)
• Document tasks and clock in/out using mobile app
• Support clients with personal hygiene needs as indicated on care plan
• Understand the physical, social, and health-related needs of the client
• Help monitor physical, social, mental, and emotional status of client and caregivers
• Demonstrate professional behavior at all times
• Complete assigned tasks within established timeframes
• Report any changes or concerns to supervisor

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
