Summary:
As our Home Care Coordinator, you will work very closely with the Operations Manager to provide Recruiting/Scheduling support to grow the company. The Home Care Coordinator will maintain all job requirements listed below. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys phone interaction and has a professional, yet compassionate demeanor in all communication. Working under pressure is a key component to success in this position.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Hours: Full time (40 hours), Mon-Fri 8 AM-5 PM
Salary: 30,000-50,000/Year
ON-CALL every other week required (Sunday-Saturday)
Job Requirements:
- Providing excellent, positive, and professional phone service to clients and caregivers
- Schedules and coordinates day-to-day caregivers' schedules by following the scheduling process
- Performs after-hours on-call responsibilities (On-Call rotation REQUIRED).
- Actively monitors schedules to ensure caregivers are getting to their scheduled shifts, and clients are always updated with schedule changes.
- Ensuring caregivers are adhering to AMADA Senior Care’s values, mission, and expectations
- Answering all incoming calls to meet clients' and caregivers needs
- Making outgoing calls, sending emails, and text messages regarding any coverage shifts
- Checking/responding to office voicemails, emails, and text messages
- Updating and maintaining various reports for accurate data entry
- Reviewing open shifts and filling them with consistency
- Follows up on all missed clock-ins and clock-outs via phone/text notifications including missed shifts or visits
- Making outbound cold calls and dials for hiring new caregivers (50-100 weekly dials)
- Setting up at least 15 interviews weekly
- Running successful orientation and training classes for new caregivers
- Bringing in a minimum of 3 new orientees into our training class weekly
- Conducting employment verification and reference checks on new hires
- Scanning caregivers required documents properly into our CRM system
- Reporting Key Progress Improvements (KPIs).
- Coordinate and assist with recruiting events as necessary and requested.
- Provide other project support as needed for various purposes.
- Make recommendations for process improvement.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within the deadline, including working under pressure
- Knowledge of HR policies (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills including telephone, in-person, cold-calling and written required
- Must have the ability to foster and maintain relationships
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree (required)
- Or 2+ or more years in the Health Care industry (required)
