Together Homecare is searching for Licensed Home Health Aides (HHAs) OR Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to work 1 on 1 with our clients in Lake County.

We are currently offering excellent opportunities for part-time and full-time hours in Lake County. Together Homecare services a wide variety of clients who are in need of a caregiver. Our schedules range from 4-8 hours per day and located in Hammond and Gary.

We have patients who need care in various environments. Caregivers can work in patient's home as well as take them to doctors appointments, errands, Etc. We will work to find a schedule that works for YOU and YOUR needs.

Field caregivers will work closely with the agency, family, and other service providers to ensure the best comprehensive care for the client. HHA Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Requirements:

• Registered Home Health Aide (HHA) OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana
• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Negative TB Test within the last 12 months or Chest X-Ray
• Physical within the last 6 months
• CPR
• Driver's License or State ID
