HOMESTEAD MIAMI SPEEDWAY
Homestead-Miami Speedway celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2020, as it continues to generate more than $301 million of annual economic benefit. The Speedway was home to NASCAR’s championship races from 2002 through 2019 – the longest such stretch in pro sports. It is regarded as the most competitive 1.5-mile track on the circuit, and also boasts a 2.21-mile road course, which is used for many racing disciplines throughout the year. In addition to its NASCAR race weekend, the track plays host to events of all types more than 300 days out of the year. During a visit to the track, fans are easily reminded of everything that Miami is known for such as an infield beach party, a slice of the area’s Cuban culture, three fresh spring water lakes, and much more!

Homestead-Miami Speedway is seeking motivated team players who will assist in planning and executing in-market promotional events. This position will support Homestead-Miami Speedway branded Promo Car and/or NASCAR Show Car at public appearances. Representatives will responsibly represent themselves as the face of Homestead-Miami Speedway to current and prospective customers. This is a temporary seasonal position and hours will be dependent on the appearance schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Positively interact with and educate the public on Homestead-Miami Speedway history, information, and ticket opportunities
• Responsible for helping with the loading and unloading of the Show Car (when used). Arrange with PMC Towing when needed
• Ensure that display is appropriately supplied with promotional materials and giveaway items
• Attention to detail and presentation of display set-up
• Actively collect prospects for future email campaigns
• Continuing education of NASCAR, IMSA & other forms of motorsports and sports industry standards on customer care
• Assist in the set up and tear down of the display
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Post high school education required or equivalent experience
• Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism and a passion for the sports industry
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Professional appearance, demeanor & excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Valid driver’s license
