The elegant and historic Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa welcomes guests into our unique and luxurious guest rooms and suites sprawled across 75 lush acres on the banks of the Hudson River..

We pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail and relentless drive towards success. We are looking for Hospitality Professionals to help us enforce the standards that historically make us one of the best in the business.

We are looking for self-motivated and experienced Hotel Housekeeping Room Attendants.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• · Change bed linen and make beds
• · Replace used guest room towels
• · Sweep and mop floors
• · Vacuum carpets
• · Dust furniture
• · Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• · Remove dirty linen and garbage from guest rooms
• · Restock linen closets on guest floors
• · Clean public areas, i.e. guest floor corridors, lobby, public restrooms
• · Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• · Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
• · Help guests retrieve lost items
• · Ensure all assigned areas are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• · Follow hotel security guidelines

Requirements:

• · Work experience as a Housekeeping Attendant
• · Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
• · Good physical health and stamina
• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
• · Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• · Excellent organizational skills
• · Ability to follow instructions
• · Excellent customer service experience as this is a direct guest contact position
• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Willingness to work a rotation work cycle with occasional afternoon shifts.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends
• Must have a reliable vehicle or means of transportation to commute to work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
