Job Analysis
This position is responsible to provide direct support and supervision of Group Home staff and monitor the delivery of services to residents. This position is also responsible for ongoing communication with the Marinette County Health & Human Services Department workers as it pertains to the delivery of services for residents.
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise house staff, conduct performance appraisals and disciplines, prepare schedules and monitor employee performance and effectiveness.
- Assist Executive Director with the hiring process.
- Provide input to enhance delivery of services to the Executive Director.
- Prepare reports for various meetings as directed by the Executive Director.
- Ensure resident intakes, assessments, treatment plans and discharge paperwork is complete and processed by applicable deadlines.
- Address medical needs of residents, assist staff with problem-solving situations and/or contacting nurses or providers.
- Assist agitated residents.
- Monitor daily house expenses and send monthly billings to Marinette County Health & Human Services.
- Approve house staff time entry for payroll.
- Assist Executive Director with budget when necessary.
- Inspect home for maintenance issues and notify the Executive Director of any concerns.
- Assist with enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assist with compliance to applicable state statutes, license requirements, etc.
- Transfer staff time cards into spreadsheets, forward to the Executive Director for approval and then submit to contracted payroll company for payment.

Qualifications
- Requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelors preferred in Human Services related field
- Requires two years of experience in the Human Services Field.
- Prefer supervisory experience.
- Possess and maintain an insurance acceptable drivers’ license.
- Qualify under the Wisconsin Caregivers Law, Wisconsin Act 27.
