Position Title: Housekeeper (2) Needed

HOURS: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM WITH THE 4 ON 2 OFF SCHEDULE

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to ensure that all areas in the facility are kept clean and tidy per direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor. Must follow established safety and sanitation policies. A team player who is willing to go the extra mile!

Responsibilities:

• Clean rooms and common areas as assigned.
• Complete Daily Hall assignments.
• Report housekeeping issues and concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Environment Director for resolution.

Qualifications:

• One (1) to Three (3) years of housekeeping experience (healthcare experience preferred)
• High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Organizational, follow-through and communications skills.
• Must be dependable, proactive, and prompt.
• Ability to multi-task and stay focused on the big picture.

Education:

• High school diploma required. Healthcare experience preferred.

Other Qualifications:

• Must possess a general appreciation of seniors and an understanding the of aging process, as well as be aware of its challenges. The maintenance and promotion of a good working relationship between staff, families and residents is essential.
• Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, employees, visitors, and the community.
