SUMMARY

The Best Western Plus Dakota Ridge and Holiday Inn Express & Suites located at I-35E & Yankee Doodle Rd. in Eagan is actively seeking Housekeepers to join our growing team. We are on the bus line right next to the MVTA Eagan Transit Station. We are a locally owned company that takes pride in our properties and cares about our crew and community.

Housekeepers will be scheduled at 8:00 a.m. Both weekday and weekend work is required. The scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Both full-time and part-time hours are available. The starting pay is $16.00 per hour. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to advance based on performance.

The successful candidates will be dependable, on time every day and ready to work. We are looking for individuals with high energy, enthusiasm and Teamwork. If you are an independent worker that takes pride in your work, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Housekeepers ensures the cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, and the heart of house. He or she will encounter guests and will need to consistently provide a positive guest experience. They play an important role in our home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acknowledges and greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting
• Performs tasks in a thorough and thoughtful manner
• Cleans assigned guest rooms and common areas in the allotted time including; changing bed linen, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, mopping and vacuuming
• Notifies the Maintenance Department of repairs needed
• Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, neat clean, and orderly
• Accommodates special requests
• Answers questions, and ensure our guests have a pleasant and smooth stay
• All other duties as assigned
• Some lifting, bending and reaching is required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
• Previous hotel-related experience preferred but not required
• Ability to communicate in a polite and professional manner
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays averaging up to 40 hours per week
• Prior to an offer of employment, the successful completion of a background check will be required
