Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Beaver Dam, WI is looking to hire a full-time housekeeper! We are a small privately owned assisted living located on 212 E. Industrial Dr. We pride ourselves on treating each person that walks through our doors like family whether they be staff, residents or family members!

Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. They have strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills! A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve is a must! Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual!

Responsibilities

*Sweep, scrub, mop and vacuum floors *Fully understands all aspects of residents’ rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse and is responsible for promptly reporting evidence of resident abuse or violation of residents’ rights to the Administrator/Care Coordinator or administrative staff. *Assists in maintaining a safe, organized, and clean environment. *Reports environmental deficiencies to the Administrator/Care Coordinator such as lighting or equipment problems. *Provides bathroom cleaning including; toilets, mirrors, countertops, sinks and floors. *Provides furniture and fixture cleaning including; dusting furniture, mirrors, windows and windowsills. *Properly stores and labels all housekeeping supplies and equipment *Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated area *Protects the personal belongings of each resident, and promptly reports missing items according to established policy and participates in efforts to locate missing items. *Maintain health and sanitary requirements *Assists activities group activities to fulfill the needs and interests of all residents.

Qualifications

*Must be 18 years or older *Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks *Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure *Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively *Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision
