Maintenance/Housekeeper Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance/Housekeeper

Reports to: Facilities Director

Riverton Country Club is a family-oriented private club committed to providing superior facilities, quality programs and a variety of services, for the benefit and enjoyment of the membership and their guests. SUMMARY:

Tasks include painting, minor repairs and general upkeep of both inside and outside of the facility. Detailed rooms and daily cleaning of all club areas is also included. Setting up and breaking down the banquet space will be required.

Part Time and Full Time Availability. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and

holidays. Hours may vary. Growth opportunities are available and can be discussed

during the interview.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Restocks supplies such as tissues toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.
• Maintains the inventory of supplies.
• Ensure the workplace is clean by dusting, vacuuming, and mopping every day.
• Perform maintenance tasks like fixing broken furniture, changing light bulbs and inspecting faulty appliances or equipment.
• Inspect problem areas and ensure the necessary steps are taken to solve them.
• Coordinate with other workers and perform tasks.
• Develop specific goals and plan to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
• Responds quickly to complaints and resolves the issues of the employees.
• Ensure the plants are watered.
• Regularly wash the windows and clean glass surfaces with care.
• Drive vans or other vehicles required to travel to, or to perform, cleaning work around the course.
• Cleans club restrooms as required, including mopping, cleaning toilets and other responsibilities as dictated by the cleaning standards sheet.
• Cleans club dining and banquet space areas as required, including vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning and other needs.

• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks.
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets, meetings and events.
• Take initiative to find areas of the club that need general repair and fixes them.
• Checks daily list of duties and performs each days duties to the standards set forth in our procedures manuals for cleaning.
• Continuously finds work to do.

• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to interact with members and guests.
• Ability to problem solve and takes initiative.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and people skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and manuals.
• Strong ability to organize and multitask.
• A general sense of cleanliness.
• Valid driver’s licenses and background checks required.
• Ability to submit references from previous jobs.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
