AECOM is seeking to hire a Houston Executive / Texas Energy Lead to support our exciting projects in Houston.

The work includes:

• Serving as the leader of AECOM’s business development activities in a defined major metropolitan or geographic area, in coordination with the Cities Initiative, Energy Strategic Growth Initiative, State executive, regional business line leaders, and market sector leads.
• Being responsible for establishing AECOM as the leading provider of professional technical services across all AECOM business lines in the area, and advance AECOM Strategic Growth Initiatives.
• Executing the overall strategy for growth in a major metropolitan or geographic area.
• Having significant prior business experience in municipal, state, energy/utility or intergovernmental agency sales and/or working with elected officials to establish business and achieve project goals.
• Having extensive knowledge of the business and product offerings to support cross-discipline/business line/region collaboration.

Responsibilities-

• Understands the needs of the business, helps develop its strategic direction and identifies initiatives that will allow the business to meet strategic goals
• Developing strategy for major opportunities, including selection of teaming partners, win strategy, technical approach and staffing
• Coordination with Internal stakeholder (legal, finance, other disciplines)
• Creation and positioning of commercial value and improvement in T&C from a commercial, legal perspective
• Relationship management
• Staff Leadership, focusing on staff retention and talent acquisition.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS + 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 4 years of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of leadership
• Bachelors in Engineering or related field
