Director of Human Resources
Concordia is seeking an expert recruiter with motivation, imagination and focus to seek out the best candidates to serve our patients and residents. The ideal candidate will be people-focused and experienced in all aspects of HR leadership and recruitment in a healthcare setting. Other desirable characteristics include a team-oriented professional skilled at mentoring newer team members and supporting multiple locations.
Qualifications:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for planning, developing and implementing an effective talent acquisition strategy through collaborative leadership. Working alongside a team of HR professionals, the manager will find, recruit, hire and retain talented candidates by utilizing best-practice recruitment and retention principles. Manager will also ensure and promote a robust recruitment and retention program that is compliant with all relevant rules and regulations for employee management in a health care environment.

- Minimum 5 years of HR/Recruitment experience, preferably in health care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR, Payroll and Learning Management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other managers and employees to accomplish goals
- Track record of high personal standards, values and conduct
- College degree required, Certification as SPHR/SHRM preferred
