Objective: To provide professional human resource services to both Nott Company Fargo locations.

1405 43rd St. N, Fargo ND 58102 and

4245 12th Ave N, Fargo ND 58102.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate positive employee relations throughout the Company.
• Provide support in all areas of recruitment and selection such as developing/updating job descriptions, placing ads, working with recruiters, screening, interviewing, offer letters, background checks, and drug/alcohol testing. Conduct new employee orientation.
• Serve as the go to person for employee needs, questions or concerns.
• Work closely with HR Manager to perform duties related to first reports of injury, monitoring workability reports, supporting managers in related decision making, and requirements of the Workforce Safety and Insurance system.
• Administer leaves of absence including FMLA and short-term disability in coordination with the HR Manager.
• Maintain HRIS and Performance Management systems, personnel files, and job descriptions in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, PHR or SHRM-CP certification highly desired

EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years human resource generalist experience, strong recruiting experience

SKILL: Ability to objectively coach employees and management; ability to effectively resolve problems; Microsoft Office competence; polished written and oral communication skills

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

Work hours: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Additional hours maybe required to support business needs.
