Associated Medical Centers of Illinois is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team on a full time basis working in either our Oak Park Office on Roosevelt Road or Beverly Park Office on Western Avenue.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal staff to meet the HR needs of our growing organization, and will have the opportunity for growth at one of Chicagoland's most established, experienced, and privately-owned injury care providers.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the HR related operations and organization for our company (6 medical clinics and approximately 40 employees) to include responsibilities such as:
- Employee relations including: recruitment, hiring, training, development, and retention planning
- Employee onboarding and departure related matters
- Organization and maintainence of employment folders
- Manage and maintain provider licenses, assist with facility credentialing as requested
- Ensure acknowledgement and review where appropriate for employee milestones (anniversaries and birthdays)
- Assist supervisors with regular staff assessments/surveys and performance reviews
- Assist with employee write ups and disciplinary matters as requested and in collaboration with employee supervisors
- Assist with Handbook/Policy updates, distribution, and monitoring
- Compensation and benefit plan management including: administration and tracking of PTO, sick pay, and maternity pay; group health insurance enrollments and disenrollment, managing group health insurance documents, and Cobra management; manage pension beneficiary forms and ensure yearly distribution
- Update employee benefits packages annually as instructed per C.O.O.
- Payroll
- Assist client to implement full scope of Paylocity offerings beyond time tracking
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations in collaboration with corporate counsel
- Handle Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) matters such as unemployment review/appeals
- Labor Law poster updates and compliance - annual ordering and ensuring properly displayed at each of the offices
- Manage and maintain IDFPR and State renewals, other miscellaneous business related license matters or permitting as requested
The position requires past HR and Paylocity experience. Those that do not meet these 2 requirements will not be considered.
The position will also require 4 days of in office work at one of the offices, the 5th day may be remote. The HR candidate must be able to travel to all offices at least once per month to check in.
