As our Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing and managing a wide range of human resources support. The ideal candidate has a broad knowledge of all facets of human resources and would serve as the first point of contact for all of HQ staff & guests. The HR Manager will serve as the HQ Office Manager in this role.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all day-to-day HR functions and administrative tasks
  • Support associates and managers with routine, day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing world-class service and ensuring you guide our teams to the right resources to ensure a quality and timely solution
  • Serves as primary contact and resource for employees, managers and specifically market Office Managers regarding HR related issues, questions, and concerns, while maintaining good working relationships and building credibility with employees.
  • Knowledgeable about employee handbook; communicates changes in policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance
  • Responds to the state's requests for unemployment information; keeps track of all requests in HRIS
  • Office Management duties including, monitoring office supplies and ordering as needed and organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean/safe to ensure the office is in good working order
  • Responding to employment verifications that come into HQ
  • Provide recruiting and talent acquisition for HQ positions (excluding sales)
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions and introduce new employees to organizational policies and procedures and benefits.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding company changes, company policy, etc.
  • Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure the office is in good working order
  • Update and maintain HRMS and is proficient in all areas of the system.
  • Serve as main contact to Building Management
  • Working with hiring manager to conduct background checks for potential candidates (HQ)
  • Serve as an advisor to hiring managers
  • Managing the employee onboarding process (Orientation), building access, logins, etc.
  • Promote Benefits enrollment (Posting benefits notices and disclosures)
  • Assist employees with open enrollment
  • Provide employees with Temporary Identification cards when requested
  • Collaborating with Management on staff recognition & reward programs
  • Greet and assist all guest that comes into HQ
  • Serve as back-up to Executive Assistant for company meetings and events
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all employees, company and customer information.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and files.
  • Handle miscellaneous items and projects
