Responsibilities:

• Ability to implement and interpret the HR/Payroll programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the facility.
• Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management.
• Must be able to communicate personnel policies, procedures, regulations, reports, etc., to staff members and government agencies/personnel.
• Working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, employee relations, payroll, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
• Create CNA and Nurse schedule efficiently and timely.
• Ensure all staff request time off forms are approved by the Director of Nursing.
• Manage fluctuations, call outs, or sudden shift changes.
• Assist with other related clerical duties, such as, copying, faxing, filing, etc., as needed.
• Provide accurate staff postings daily.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• 2+ years experience in Skilled Nursing Facility environment
