Galapagos Federal Systems, LLC is looking for a Human Resources Analyst L3. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Air Force military and civilian personnel management systems which Involves developing, delivering, managing, and maintaining HR information systems when the paramount knowledge requirements is human resource management, rather than information technology.

Additionally, the candidate will be involved in the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting basic concepts, principles, and theories of military HR to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements of military departments and organizations which include management of enlisted/officer performance reports.

This position will work within the civilian personnel system regarding recruitment & placement, human resource development and performance management.

Added responsibilities may include support to professional and career development training programs ensuring personnel training history records are complete, accurate and IAW regulatory guidelines.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills / Experience Required

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant DoD work experience
  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership to help ensure mission success
  • Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner
  • Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
  • Awareness of U.S. Space Force organizations and echelons of command as it relates to NTSSC customers and stakeholders, programmatic goals and objectives, and mission requirements
  • Strong writing, editing, analytical and team facilitation skills
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Relevant work experience/training certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and may include lifting thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
