Muscatine Community College is seeking a FT. HVAC Instructor

Under the direction of the MCC Dean of Instruction, this position will be responsible for:

Responsible for teaching courses and assessing learning outcomes in HVAC. Assignments may include alternative delivery methods, evening courses, and multiple sites. Must demonstrate excellence in teaching and service. Must demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of the community college.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Combination of education, training and at least 6,000 hours (3yrs.) recent and relevant work experience in HVAC required or; Bachelor’s degree in HVAC.
• Five years of relevant field experience in HVAC is preferred.
• Must possess a Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Universal certification.
• Experience teaching at a community college is preferred but not required.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, days or evenings.
