Job Description Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Restaurant Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team. You will perform necessary work to keep HVAC, Kitchen equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair.

Knowledge and experience in repair and installation of commercial food service equipment. Basic knowledge of several skills, such as, carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing. Must be able to work alone without immediate supervision.

The Restaurant maintenance Technician must have the ability to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to restaurant equipment, as required. They will need to be able to provide emergency unscheduled repairs of restaurant equipment during hours of operation and per scheduled maintenance repairs of the restaurant equipment during non-peak hours, as appropriate.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• HVAC Certification
• Technical School Graduate or Degree Certifications
• Valid Driver’s License Required
• Experience: 3-5 years minimum
• Commercial HVAC Experience
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment

The Restaurant Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Commercial HVAC Repair

• Ability to handle physical workload, must be able to lift 50 lbs., able to climb ladders, etc.
• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and HVAC within our restaurants
• Maintain Kitchen Equipment, Ice Machines, Basic Maintenance, Etc.
• Maintain Commercial; Refrigeration (Walk in Coolers, Freezers)

• Maintain Maintenance at Multiple Restaurant locations

• Maintain proper maintenance vehicle inventories to ensure effective and efficient repairs/replacements of standard restaurant equipment maintenance.
• Maintains clean and orderly work areas to include vehicle cleanliness and maintenance
• Perform other duties, as assigned
